RatingMalika is a wonderful tutor. She has helped my children understand a range of math skills. With her help their grades have improved and they are more confident in school.
Malika has been working with my son for 4 months. With so much time off from school because of Covid, his weekly tutoring has really helped him catch up with math. She sends frequent progress updates as well as recordings of every zoom tutoring session.

When it became evident that my son needed help with geometry, I made several calls to find him a local tutor. Malika, from Riverview Math and Science Tutors returned my call within minutes and she was able to begin working with my son almost immediately. With the pandemic, I found myself homeschooling and my 2 highschool daughters were quickly struggling with Algebra 2 and Chemistry. We were fortunate to find Malika! She is absolutely wonderful. My girls love seeing her 3 times a week and they are indeed improving. Malika explains things so they understand and she is kind, while still challenging them. She is also great at communicating with me so that I know how they are progressing. I count my lucky stars having Malika on my team! I highly recommend her without any hesitation.
I meet with Malika weekly to go over my online Precalculus and trigonometry course and I have to say, she’s really phenomenal. In fact, I even drive over an hour each way to meet her and I can tell you it’s worth it. I find that the way she teaches the material is so much easier for me to understand than what’s in my text or online lectures. I will continue to work with her next semester for physics and chemistry.
My son has only been seeing Malika for a few months now for Math. We are already seeing an improvement.
My daughter has been struggling in 8th grade math. We have used this tutor in the past with great success, and we are back again. The care and concern and the great patience with my daughter makes it so easy to bring her back. My daughter doesn't like to do many things that include school, but going to tutoring is something she enjoys. She feels each time she is learning more and things are explained in ways she can understand. This is def. not your cookie cutter tutor. She will go above and beyond to make sure your child is learning and improving.
